One side displays an intricate patriotic lithograph beneath the glass featuring an American eagle, flags, and GAR medal insignia with “H. Byer, 2nd & Walnut St.” identified at the bottom. The opposite side features raised red “U.S.” lettering. Retains original twisted cord strap and tin screw cap. Marked “PATENT APPLIED FOR” along bottom edge.
