Marked on barrel rib: "-Remington Arms Co- -Ilion N.Y. U.S.A.-". This shotgun comes with a letter from Remington dated 1941. The letter is a response to a request for the gun's record. This letter states it was made and sold in 1906 and that it uses Decarbonized Steel barrels. The letter goes on to advise the owner not to use modern smokeless loads with it as the metal can't handle it.

Condition
Very fine over all condition. Opens & closes smoothly, action works smoothly. Bores excellent, no pitting or rust. Barrels retain majority of blue, some light pitting outside breach. Light speckles of oxidation on bottom of action. Stock has light scratches, butt plate has a chip missing at the bottom point.
