U.S.A.-". This shotgun comes with a letter from Remington dated 1941. The letter is a response to a request for the gun's record. This letter states it was made and sold in 1906 and that it uses Decarbonized Steel barrels. The letter goes on to advise the owner not to use modern smokeless loads with it as the metal can't handle it.
