A matched pair of black pebbled leather triple-compartment rifle ammunition pouches of the standard German World War II pattern for the Karabiner 98k service rifle. Each pouch is constructed with three individual cells secured by pebbled leather flaps with snap closures, the interiors fitted with stiffened rawhide dividers intended to support and separate charger-loaded ammunition. The interior of the center compartment of each pouch bears a yellow ink stamp, respectively reading "0293" and "0308," applied in a manner consistent with wartime German production, acceptance, or depot marking practices. The reverse of each pouch features reinforced belt attachment loops with riveted construction. These pouches were designed to carry internal metal charger or magazine tins.
Dimensions approx.: 4.5 x 9 x 1.75 in. (each)

Good, with honest service wear throughout. Leather shows surface scuffing, edge wear, and areas of dryness consistent with field use, while remaining structurally sound. Stitching is largely intact, hardware present, and internal dividers retained. Internal metal charger tins are absent.
