The stylized carving includes flowing hair and a floral-ornamented garment, transitioning to a black lacquered shaft via a polished metal collar. The shaft tapers to a rounded metal ferrule. Likely European, ca. 1880–1900.

Condition
Very good overall. The ivory handle has developed a rich natural patina with typical age lines and light surface wear. Shaft retains most of its original black finish with expected wear and minor losses. Collar and ferrule with tarnish and oxidation.
