A fine late 19th to early 20th century continental walking cane featuring a crisply carved ivory handle in the form of a scrolling crook terminating in a detailed grape cluster and foliate motif. The ivory handle is mounted on a dark hardwood shaft with a floral chased silver collar and a metal ferrule tip. Dimensions approx.: total height 35.5 ins., handle length 5.25 ins. Pickup & Shipping: This lot may be picked up free of charge in Gardnerville, NV. Shipping via FedEx Ground/Home available within the continental U.S. for $100. Condition

Very good overall antique condition. The ivory handle displays a warm age patina with minor natural hairlines typical of age. Crisp carving is well-preserved with no apparent losses. The hardwood shaft shows light surface wear consistent with use, and the silver collar is intact with mild tarnish. Metal ferrule secure.
