A World War II German Kriegsmarine officer’s dress dagger featuring a brass pommel in the form of the naval eagle above a cream-colored celluloid grip wrapped with twisted brass wire. The crossguard bears the traditional fouled anchor motif, over a finely engraved brass scabbard decorated with acanthus panels, lightning-bolt motifs, and dual suspension rings. A silver bullion portepee remains tied in the regulation naval knot. The bright steel blade is etched on both sides with naval trophies, floral scrollwork, and sunburst panels, and is marked on the ricasso with the “Original Eickhorn, Solingen” trademark. A well-detailed example retaining its full dress accoutrements.

Condition
Very good overall with light wear. Blade retains strong original polish and clear etching. Grip lightly toned with age. Portepee shows fraying. Scabbard exhibits even patina and expected handling wear.

All private-party purchases of modern firearms will be delivered to Guns N Ammo as soon as possible following Nevada Gun Auctions’ receipt of payment in full.
- California Residents — California residents holding a valid Curio & Relic License may pick up eligible firearms directly from our Nevada facility; however, Nevada Gun Auctions does not ship C&R firearms directly into California. All such transactions will be handled exclusively through Guns N Ammo.
- Shipping — All Nevada Gun Auctions shipments are sent via FedEx with adult signature required and insured for 1.5% of the purchase price unless waived in writing. Shipping costs for each lot are published within the lot description. Handguns are required by law to ship via FedEx 2Day Air.
