Classic circular NSDAP (National Socialist German Workers’ Party) membership badge featuring a black swastika on a white enamel field surrounded by a red enamel border reading “National-Sozialistische D.A.P.” Instituted in the early 1920s as the official party emblem, this badge was worn by registered members as a symbol of political affiliation and loyalty to the National Socialist Party. The reverse is stamped “M1/100” and bears the RZM roundel over “R7,” identifying regulation production under the Reichszeugmeisterei system.
