Black leather military holster of German WWII pattern, formed for the Walther P38 pistol. The holster features a full protective flap with strap-and-stud closure, reinforced mouth, stitched toe, and rear belt loops. A stitched side pouch is present, housing a steel pistol magazine. The construction is of semi-rigid, molded leather typical of German service holsters of the period. The reverse of the holster is stamped “P38,” with additional smaller inspection or maker marks present above the belt loops. The accompanying steel magazine is also marked “P38,” and appears consistent in form and finish with German wartime production.
