J.P. Clabrough & Bros External Hammer Double Barrel Damascus Shotgun. Top barrel rib stamped "J.P. Clabrough & Bro's London Laminated Steel" It is a medium-grade gun. It is a 12-gauge, top-lever, high hammer gun, with doll's head rib extension. The bores are 13-gauge. There are no chokes (it is cylinder and cylinder), so it lacks any 1875-1887 choke proof marks. It has the three standard 1855-1904 Birmingham proof marks. The serial number is stamped on the bottom barrel rib under the fore-end, the fore-end iron, and the action flat. Walnut stock and a German silver shield stock escutcheon (on the underside of the butt stock) It is iron mounted except the butt plate, which is hard rubber with horizontal lines.

Condition
Overall very good condition. Bores have some light pitting with a few more serious pits near breach. Blue finish is worn and looks gray for the most part. Stock has light scratches.
