12 gauge 20” barrel with bayonet lug and 6-hole heat shield, SN: 27905. Blued finish, smooth pistol gripped walnut stock and forend. Military version of the Model 620 Pump Shotgun, with 6-hole ventilated heat shield, plum colored bayonet lug and sling swivel mount at muzzle and sling swivel in toe of stock. "P" and "Ordnance Bomb" stamps are present on the right side of the chamber and left side of the receiver. Lower left of the receiver is also stamped "U.S." and "P" proofs are present on the top of the barrel and receiver at their junction. A rare and fine condition example of a WWII era US military trench gun.
