A handsome .22 long rifle caliber falling block lever action rifle by the J. Stevens A. & T. Co. of Chicopee Falls, Mass., U.S.A. It is marked “Stevens Maynard Jr.” on one of the flats of the octagonal breech, a clear tribute to the famous Maynard Rifle of Civil War and later fame. The gun is contained in a non-original cardboard box with pieces of wood to keep it secure. 18 inch barrel (mfg. circa pre-1919). Blued finish, walnut stock. No serial number. Provenance: Al and Carol Cali Collection. This firearm is modern and must be shipped to a FEDERAL FIREARMS LICENCE HOLDER or a CURIO AND RELICS FFL HOLDER. California Residents: This rifle qualifies as a Curio & Relic and may be transferred in California under the C&R roster exemption. California buyers must complete the transfer through a dealer familiar with C&R processing. Pick up and Shipping: Free pickup in Gardnerville, NV.
