Brass bullet mold from the percussion revolver period, marked “COLT’S PATENT” on the block with sprue plate. The single cavity produces .31 caliber projectiles, typical of molds supplied with Colt’s Pocket Model revolvers of the 1840s–1860s. The tool shows fine casting and precise machining consistent with Colt factory manufacture. Dimensions approx.: 4.25 x 1.25 in. Provenance: The Al and Carol Cali Collection. Pickup & Shipping: This lot may be picked up free of charge in Gardnerville, NV. It can also be delivered to the Annex Auctions facility for pick up in Sacramento for $25 pre invoice. Shipping via FedEx within the continental U.S. for $50 + 1.5% insurance (unless waived in writing). Combined lot shipping available.

Condition

Very good overall, showing a mellow aged patina to the brass and minor oxidation to the steel sprue cutter; hinge operates smoothly and cavities remain crisp.
