Blue grey finish, case hardened receiver and uninspected walnut stock. Civil War production M1863 Sharps carbine. Barrel has small "RSL' inspectors initial on left flat. Retains vast majority of barrel blue and receiver case hardening with some wear on the underside near the muzzle and some scratches around the "new model" mark. The casehardening is darkened slightly. The bore is excellent. Most of the screws and small parts retain their fine blue finish. The stock is excellent showing only minor wear and retaining the original raised grain. Has a few small dents especially on forend.
