Peter White was born in 1778 and is listed in the census of 1800 in Emmitsburg, MD, near master gunsmith John Armstrong. White moved to Bedford Cty., PA, in 1803 and was picked up in the tax listings of Bedford Cty., Cumberland Township, in 1807. In 1819 to his death in 1834, Mr. White lived in Uniontown, PA.

Overall good condition, Action functions, steel parts brown with oxidation and has pitting around lock and breach. Bore also oxidized. Stock fine overall with some scratches.
