Philadelphia Deringer. .44 caliber bore, 3.5" barrel, serial number 11, circa 1850s.
"Deringer Philadelphia" marked on chamber top and lock plate. Marked "P" left side of chamber. maked 11 on underside of barrel an trigger guard tang. Pistol in box it did not originally come with. Also included in case is a pocket watch, poker chips, and small powder flask.

Barrel with some old applied blue and showing some light pitting. Barrel tang broken and rewelded on underside. Hammer an old, incorrect replacement. Casing fabricated and relined with unrelated accessories added.
