Presentation Henry A. Zug Box Made from Wood Exhibited at the 1876 Centennial Exhibition.
Glued to the inside of the lid is a handwritten antique note which reads: "This box was made from wood on exhibition at the 1876 Centennial in Philadelphia in the Brazilian Department and was considered to be the finest piece of wood on exhibition. It was presented to H.A. Zug who was Special Agent of the U.S.Treasury at the time. The box was made ten years later in October 1886."
