No patent date markings on the short barrel, which only has the two-line caliber marking on the left side of the barrel. Left frame with S&W logo marking and lower right of frame with "MADE IN USA" markings. Revolver includes a Clark Holsters model 382 leather holster.

Very Fine. Bore fine and lighlty frosted with crisp rifling. Metal with most of the blued finish intact, showing some thinning, high edge wear and minor loss due to carry and use, as well as a turn ring on the cylinder. Hammer and trigger with most of their vibrant case colors intact. Markings remain clear and crisp. Mechanically functional action. Grips crisp with some light wear. Holster with moderate wear and some scuffing from carry and use.
