.30-06. 24" barrel. SN: 156653 (mfg. ca.1908). Blued finish, single bolt finger groove walnut S stock. Bolt action fixed magazine rifle with folding tangent rear sight marked to "27", hooded front sight, bayonet lug, sling and stacking swivels and oiler in butt trap. Barrel marked RIA 10-09 . Counterpane with crisp and correct script CN/1910 cartouche with a clear Circle-P behind the triggerguard. Includes a US M1907 leather sling dated 1917. NOTE: RIA M1903 Rifles with serial numbers under 258,507 are considered unsafe for shooting due to the heat treatment used on the receivers.
This firearm is modern and must be picked up or shipped to a FEDERAL FIREARMS LICENSE HOLDER or a CURIO AND RELICS HOLDER.

Shipping costs within the continental United States generally range:

All private-party purchases of modern firearms will be delivered to Guns N Ammo as soon as possible following Nevada Gun Auctions’ receipt of payment in full.
Condition
About Fine. Bore appears fine but is heavily greased. Metal with much of the thinning and fading blue, with the smaller parts showing more wear and loss. Markings in metal clear and crisp. Mechanically functional action. Stock very nice with clear markings and some scattered bumps, dings and marks.

- California Residents — California residents holding a valid Curio & Relic License may pick up eligible firearms directly from our Nevada facility; however, Nevada Gun Auctions does not ship C&R firearms directly into California. - Shipping — All Nevada Gun Auctions shipments are sent via FedEx with adult signature required and insured for 1.5% of the purchase price unless waived in writing. Shipping costs for each lot are published within the lot description. Handguns are required by law to ship via FedEx 2Day Air.
