Attractive silver-tone shield badge issued to the Inglewood Park Police, the upper banners reading INGLEWOOD PARK above POLICE, with badge number 1 displayed in blue enamel within the lower panel. The central medallion features a detailed park scene encircled by a white enamel ring, set within a radiating sunburst field and framed by a laurel wreath border and spread eagle crest. The reverse is die-stamped “JUN-39 / L.A. STAMP & STATY. CO.” indicating manufacture in June 1939. As a Park Police badge, it would have been worn by officers responsible for municipal park security and enforcement duties.

Condition
