Swedish Mauser Model 1896 Bayonet. It has what appears to be a unit marking on the left side of the guard.
The M96 bayonet served the Swedish military for more than 80 years. The Swedes liked it so much (and had so many in storage) that they carried it over from the Mauser M96 it was designed for to their first autoloader, the AgM42 ‘Ljungman’. Even after the rifle’s retirement in 1964, some Swedish rear-echelon support units carried the bayonet until 1983.
Dimensions: 8.25" blade, 14" overall (pommel to end of sheath)
