Group of two red-painted lithographed sporting powder tins including a larger “Golden Pheasant Gun Powder” example manufactured by E.I. Du Pont de Nemours & Co., Wilmington, Delaware, together with a smaller “Triple Refined Dead Shot Sporting Powder” / “American Powder Mills Rifle F.F.G.” tin, Boston, Massachusetts. Both retain original screw caps and colorful factory graphics with hunting and sporting scenes. Attractive early sporting advertising pieces with strong shelf presence.
