.30-06. 24” barrel. SN: 4803976 (mfg. ca. 1943). Parkerized finish, smooth walnut two bolt straight gripped stock. Bolt action fixed magazine military rifle with adjustable peep rear sight, hooded blade front sight and sling and stacking swivels with an OD green web sling. Barrel dated "7-43". Barrel and receiver are Smith Corona production, bolt appears to be as well, stock marked "E" on tip. Inspector marks “RIA" and "FJA” on counterpane, indicating a Rock Island Arsenal rebuilt, and original Frank J. Atwood inspection. "Circle-P" behind the triggerguard.

Condition
Very Good. Bore dark and oxidized with strong rifling. Metal with most of the refurbished Parkerizing intact. Markings clear throughout. Mechanically functional action. Wood with moderate wear, showing numerous scattered bumps, dings and mars.

- California Residents — California residents holding a valid Curio & Relic License may pick up eligible firearms directly from our Nevada facility; however, Nevada Gun Auctions does not ship C&R firearms directly into California. All such transactions will be handled exclusively through Guns N Ammo.
- Shipping — All Nevada Gun Auctions shipments are sent via FedEx with adult signature required and insured for 1.5% of the purchase price unless waived in writing. Shipping costs for each lot are published within the lot description. Handguns are required by law to ship via FedEx 2Day Air.
