.30-06. 24” barrel, SN: 259793 (mfg. circa 1906). Blued finish, smooth straight grip stock with finger grooves and no reinforcing bolts. Bolt action fixed magazine military rifle with ladder military rear sight, hooded blade front sight and sling and stacking swivels with an M1907 sling. Barrel dated "05". No visible cartouche or "circle-P" marks.

Good. Fair bore is dark and dirty with visible rifling. Metal with some thinning blue remaining, with some surface oxidation. Markings clear in metal, none in wood. Mechanically functional action. Wood well worn with no markings, and numerous bumps, dings and mars.
