made for and imported by Schoverling, Daley & Gales, an importer and wholesale sporting goods dealer in New York
. Many were made by Belgian companies, the English marked guns were made by
J.P. Clabrough & Bros
.
Top rib stamped "London Laminated Steel". Serial number "1816" is found on each barrel, receiver flat, and fore-end iron. Barrels have the three standard 1855-1904 Birmingham proof marks. Each barrel is also marked "Damascus" above the rear Birmingham proof mark and each barrel has the mark "f*w*w" about an inch forward of the Birmingham marks.

Condition
Overall very good condition. Action functions. Bores have pitting, finish overall has gone brown. Stock has some scratches and needs to be oiled.
