Parkhurst was a trade brand name made for and imported by Schoverling, Daley & Gales, an importer and wholesale sporting goods dealer in New York . Many were made by Belgian companies, the English marked guns were made by J.P. Clabrough & Bros . Top rib stamped "London Laminated Steel". Serial number "1816" is found on each barrel, receiver flat, and fore-end iron. Barrels have the three standard 1855-1904 Birmingham proof marks. Each barrel is also marked "Damascus" above the rear Birmingham proof mark and each barrel has the mark "f*w*w" about an inch forward of the Birmingham marks. Dimensions: 46.5" long overall.
