Original Imperial German M16 steel combat helmet shell retaining traces of its wartime hand-applied camouflage finish. The helmet displays extensive shell damage, including dramatic penetrating strikes through the crown and sidewall areas. Substantial original camouflage paint remains visible beneath decades of age and oxidation, contributing to the helmet’s strong visual impact and untouched combat-worn character.

Condition
Relic condition. Original three-color camouflage paint remains visible across much of the exterior, showing muted green, brown, and ochre fields with remnants of black separator lines. Helmet is missing its liner and chinstrap, retaining only partial hardware. The shell exhibits significant combat or postwar damage, including multiple punctures and a large jagged penetration through the crown area. Surface oxidation, scattered scratches, and age wear are present throughout. Interior rear skirt retains a legible stamped marking “B.F.62.” The extensive shell damage and long-undisturbed field appearance give the helmet exceptional battlefield character and strong display appeal.

- 2–4 firearms: $50 each
- 5–9 firearms: $25 each
- 10 or more firearms: $15 each
Shipping costs within the continental United States generally range:

- Long guns: $75–100 each
All private-party purchases of modern firearms will be delivered to Guns N Ammo as soon as possible following Nevada Gun Auctions’ receipt of payment in full.
- California Residents — California residents holding a valid Curio & Relic License may pick up eligible firearms directly from our Nevada facility; however, Nevada Gun Auctions does not ship C&R firearms directly into California. All such transactions will be handled exclusively through Guns N Ammo.
- Shipping — All Nevada Gun Auctions shipments are sent via FedEx with adult signature required and insured for 1.5% of the purchase price unless waived in writing. Shipping costs for each lot are published within the lot description. Handguns are required by law to ship via FedEx 2Day Air.
