WWII-period German Army officer’s visor cap constructed in feldgrau wool with red Waffenfarbe piping denoting artillery branch service. Retains metal Wehrmacht eagle and cockade insignia to the front along with silver officer’s chin cord and black lacquered visor. Interior retains tan sweatband and gray silk lining. A strong display example of the classic German officer’s Schirmmütze pattern of the Second World War.
