WWII German K98k in 8mm Mauser. Has 23.75" barrel, serial numbered: 3983 (rifle) and 2094 (bolt), Dated 1940. Finished blue with wood furniture. This rifle still has the original sling attached, which is also dated 1940. Chamber stamped "237", the factory code for Berlin-Lübecker Maschinenfabrik in Lübeck. The rifle is in original German configuration with German marks and no foreign capture or reissue marks. This was more than likely a souvenir from war time or immediately post war.
