WWII German Mauser HSc Pistol in 7.65mm (.32 acp). Has 3.5" barrel, serial number 778208, circa 1941- early 1942. Finished blue with wood grips. Mauser designed this in the late 1930s for the civilian market to compete with the Walther PP series. Unfortunately, by the time they finished designing it in 1938. Germany was shifting to a war footing. So they couldn't get permission to produce it from the German government, as it wasn't militarily useful enough. In 1940 They changed their minds as they needed as many pistols as they could get. As such the majority of them went to the german military and police. Mauser did also sell to the civilian market as initially intended, but only a relatively small number compared to military. This Is the less common version made for the commercial market, The only difference Is it doesn't have a military acceptance mark on the left side of the trigger guard. This firearm is modern and must be shipped to a FEDERAL FIREARMS LICENCE HOLDER or a CURIO AND RELICS FFL HOLDER! Processing and shipping within the Continental US $55 . All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
