World War Two German Duetsches Rotes Kreuz (DRK) uniform tunic. The DRK was the German equivalent of the American Red Cross, and served a function similar to their allied counterparts. This tunic is for the DRK Rank of Anwärter/Helfer “Candidate/helper”. The right sleeve has a DRK insignia patch and the left sleeve has a sewn on red cross arm band with nazi ink stamps. The collar tabs are light gray and trimmed with silver bullion, each adorned with a red enamel cross. Has a tailor label from Bitburg Germany below interior pocket.
