Nevada Gun Auctions' summer online sale brings 332 lots of antique and modern firearms, edged weapons, and militaria to the block, open for bidding July 26 through August 9. The firearms range across more than two centuries — from a flintlock jezail of the First Anglo-Afghan War and a U.S. Springfield Model 1842 percussion musket to Winchester lever and pump actions, engraved Colts, and Smith & Wesson revolvers from the golden age of American gunmaking, alongside clean modern arms for the working collector. Edged weapons include U.S. and European cavalry sabers, a rare beaded-and-ribbed Fairbairn-Sykes commando dagger, and custom fixed blades by contemporary makers. The militaria section is deep: painted doughboy and European combat helmets, WWI Imperial German aviation badges, a WWI trench armor chest piece, presentation bugles of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, a Thomas Ward Custer–attributed presentation pistol case, and a remarkable archive of Civil War soldiers' letters — first-hand accounts running from Fredericksburg to Lincoln's funeral train. Lots begin closing Sunday, August 9 at 10:00 AM PT.
