Distinctive grouping of two German belt buckles representing both formal dress and field service during the Third Reich period. The first is a political or civil-service style round brocade buckle in gilt aluminum, featuring a spread-wing eagle over swastika within an oakleaf wreath, RZM-marked “M4/24,” and intended for dress or parade wear. The second is a Luftwaffe enlisted buckle of aluminum construction with pebbled field, displaying the characteristic droop-tailed eagle clutching swastika within a wreath. Instituted in 1935, Luftwaffe buckles formed part of standard uniform issue, while the brocade example reflects more formal organizational attire.
Dimensions approx.: Rectangular 2 x 2.5 in.; round 2.25 in. dia.

Very good. Both buckles exhibit expected wear with areas of finish loss and light handling marks; details remain sharp and hardware intact.
