Well-matched grouping of two German enlisted belt buckles representing both labor service and army issue during the Third Reich period. The first is a Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) buckle of aluminum construction with pebbled field and central spade-and-wreath device with swastika, maker-marked “B&N 36” for Berg & Nolte, an early-war example. The second is a Wehrmacht Heer enlisted buckle in steel, featuring the national eagle over swastika within a wreath and the motto “Gott Mit Uns.” Instituted in 1936, these buckles formed a standard part of German uniform equipment, symbolizing service to state and nation across both military and labor organizations.

Very good. Both buckles show expected age and service wear, with surface finish loss and light oxidation consistent with period use; markings remain legible and hardware intact.
