Set of four mid-to-late 19th-century English percussion cap tins by Eley Brothers, London. Includes one tall double-cap tin embossed with the Royal Arms and marked “Eley’s Double Waterproof Percussion Caps,” two examples with raised lettering “Eley Bro. London” on brown-lacquered tin tops, and one W. & C. Eley tin with a green paper label reading “Metal-Lined Caps for Colt’s Patent Belt and Pocket Pistols.” All four examples have been previously opened, revealing clean, intact copper percussion caps within. Together they represent a fine cross-section of Eley Brothers’ distinctive period production and labeling variations.
