Well-balanced grouping of four mid-20th century Inglewood Police badges representing motor, supervisory, reserve, and patrol service roles. Included are a Motor Police badge with bear crest and chevron-style number panel, a Sergeant badge with eagle-over-shield design, a Reserve badge numbered 205, and a Policeman badge numbered 1676. All examples retain blue enamel rank and department panels surrounding the City of Inglewood seal. Maker’s marks include “ENTENMANN/LOS ANGELES” on the Motor, Sergeant, and Reserve badges, and “ENTENMANN-ROVIN CO./GENUINE ‘CARLTONE GOLD’/‘PLATILOY SILVER’/PICO RIVERA, CALIF.” on the Policeman 1676 example. These badges reflect the structured rank and assignment distinctions within the Inglewood Police Department during the mid-20th century, including motor officers assigned to traffic and motorcycle patrol duties, supervisory sergeants, reserve officers, and regular patrolmen.
