A fine two-cavity brass bullet mold for casting round balls in .31 caliber, likely intended for pocket-sized percussion revolvers. Made of solid brass with crisp cavity edges and squared exterior faces, the piece shows balanced proportions and clean workmanship typical of early American mold-making. Its warm golden surface and evident use marks lend it appealing character consistent with 19th-century field or workshop use. Dimensions: Approx. 4.25 x 0.75 in. Provenance: The Al and Carol Cali Collection. Pickup & Shipping: This lot may be picked up free of charge in Gardnerville, NV. It can also be delivered to the Annex Auctions facility for pickup in Sacramento for $25 pre-invoice. Shipping via FedEx within the continental U.S. for $50 + 1.5% insurance (unless waived in writing). Combined lot shipping available.

Condition

Very good. Exhibits moderate handling wear and an even aged patina from long storage, with the hinge functioning properly and the cavities remaining clean and sharply formed.
