An iron bullet mold configured with one round and one conical cavity for casting .44 caliber projectiles. The mold includes an integral sprue plate and a single stamped capital R on one block face. Typical of American percussion-era manufacture, this type of dual-cavity design allowed versatility in producing both ball and conical bullets for .44 caliber revolvers used during the mid-century period. Dimensions approx.: 4.25 x 1.175 in. Provenance: The Al and Carol Cali Collection. Pickup & Shipping: This lot may be picked up free of charge in Gardnerville, NV.
