An iron bullet mold configured with one round and one conical cavity for casting .44 caliber projectiles. The mold includes an integral sprue plate and a single stamped capital R on one block face. Typical of American percussion-era manufacture, this type of dual-cavity design allowed versatility in producing both ball and conical bullets for .44 caliber revolvers used during the mid-century period.
