Iron bullet mold marked “COLT’S PATENT” on the right block, with a small “WAT” inspector’s stamp attributed to Captain William A. Thornton on the opposite side. The mold features two cavities—one round ball and one conical—approximately .36 caliber, consistent with ammunition for Colt’s 1851 Navy revolver. The tool retains its original blued finish, showing light age mottling and scattered surface wear. The hinge and sprue cutter operate smoothly. Dimensions approx.: 5 x 1 in. Provenance: The Al and Carol Cali Collection. Pickup & Shipping: This lot may be picked up free of charge in Gardnerville, NV. It can also be delivered to the Annex Auctions facility for pickup in Sacramento for $25 pre-invoice. Shipping via FedEx within the continental U.S. for $50 + 1.5% insurance (unless waived in writing). Combined lot shipping available.

Condition

Very good overall with minor age wear and traces of original blue finish. Clear markings throughout.
