Well-made gilt civil service decoration awarded for long and faithful service to the German state. Instituted in 1938, the Faithful Service Decoration recognized civilian government employees who had completed extended periods of loyal service, with the First Class example representing 25 years. The medal features a gilt cross over an oak wreath with a black enamel swastika at center. The reverse bears the inscription "Für Treue Dienste," translated as “For Faithful Service.” The decoration is suspended from a blue ribbon typical of the period.

Very good. The medal retains strong gilt finish with light surface wear consistent with age. Enamel center intact with minor wear visible to portions of the swastika. Ribbon present with expected handling wear.
