German World War II–era Army (Heer) officer’s parade sword, featuring a gilt brass lion-head pommel with red glass eyes, the mane and facial features crisply cast. The black composition grip is wrapped with twisted wire and fitted with a gilt eagle-and-wreath grip badge. The gilt brass guard is decorated with oak leaf motifs and terminates in a knuckle bow with scrolling quillon. The plain polished steel blade is unetched and bears the maker’s mark of WKC (Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co., Solingen) at the ricasso. Housed in a black-painted metal scabbard with matching mounts.

Good overall condition. Blade remains bright with scattered light scratches and minor age spotting. Gilt mounts retain much of their original finish with areas of expected wear. Grip wire intact. Scabbard shows surface wear, paint loss, and oxidation consistent with age and service.
