The obverse shows a detailed depiction of a battleship surging forward through waves, surrounded by a gilt oak leaf wreath and topped by the German national eagle. The reverse is marked “FEC. ADOLF BOCK / AUSF. SCHWERIN – BERLIN”, indicating the highly regarded design and production partnership responsible for the earliest and most sought-after examples. Retains its original wide pin, hinge, and catch assembly.
