A finely detailed Kriegsmarine S-Boat War Badge, die-struck in tombac and finished with a silvered and gilt wash. The obverse depicts a Schnellboot (fast attack torpedo craft) cutting through stylized waves, surrounded by a gilt oak leaf wreath and surmounted by the German national eagle. The reverse is maker-marked FEC. W.E. PEEKHAUS BERLIN and AUSF. SCHWERIN BERLIN 68, denoting design and production by one of the most respected wartime manufacturers. Retains its original broad pin, hinge, and catch assembly.

Very Good. Traces of the original gilt finish remain on the wreath with light silvering wear to the boat. Pin assembly complete and functional with an even patina throughout.
