Italian M.V.S.N. (Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale) fighting knife of the Mussolini era, retaining its original steel scabbard embossed with the Fascist fasces emblem above the initials “M.V.S.N.” The knife features a heavy clip-point steel blade, steel crossguard, and slab grip scales secured by rivets. The pattern is consistent with Italian military and paramilitary fighting knives of the interwar and Second World War period. The marked scabbard identifies the piece with the Blackshirt militia, one of the principal paramilitary organizations of Fascist Italy.
