Mid-19th century large copper powder flask featuring an embossed hunting scene depicting a Native American on horseback pursuing a buffalo, framed by oak leaves, acorns, and a stag’s head at the top. The reverse is plain. Fitted with a brass adjustable charger marked in grains (2¼–3¾), blue spring, and four suspension rings. The top is stamped AMFLASK&CAP Co., the mark of the American Flask & Cap Company of Waterbury, Connecticut, active circa 1850–1870, a leading maker of quality sporting and military flasks of the period.

Condition
Good overall condition with even dark patina, light oxidation to brass top and spout, and minor surface wear consistent with age. Charger spring remains functional; no major dents or structural damage.
