A mid-19th-century double cavity bullet mold of blued steel construction, unmarked, designed for casting both conical and round ball projectiles of approximately .36 caliber. The cavities and sprue cutter are finely machined, with crisp edges and even tooling typical of the percussion revolver period. The surfaces retain a pleasing aged blue finish with light wear from use. Dimensions approx.: 4.75 x 1 in. Provenance: The Al and Carol Cali Collection. Pickup & Shipping: This lot may be picked up free of charge in Gardnerville, NV. It can also be delivered to the Annex Auctions facility for pickup in Sacramento for $25 pre-invoice. Shipping via FedEx within the continental U.S. for $50 + 1.5% insurance (unless waived in writing). Combined lot shipping available.

Condition

Very good overall, showing traces of original finish with light oxidation and handling wear. Mechanically sound with a smooth hinge and intact sprue cutter.
