A mid-19th-century double cavity bullet mold of blued steel construction, unmarked, designed for casting both conical and round ball projectiles of approximately .36 caliber. The cavities and sprue cutter are finely machined, with crisp edges and even tooling typical of the percussion revolver period. The surfaces retain a pleasing aged blue finish with light wear from use.
