A finely made 19th-century bullet mold of brass and steel construction, fitted with a turned hardwood handle and iron sprue cutter. The mold is single-cavity, designed for casting conical bullets measuring approximately 11 mm (.44 caliber). The brass block is neatly machined and joined to a blued steel cutter that pivots smoothly at the hinge. The lathe-turned handle shows careful shaping and a smooth aged finish. Though unmarked, the form corresponds closely to period molds intended for .44 caliber percussion revolvers of the mid-1800s.
