Derringer .41 cal, 3-1/8 inch barrel, circa 1840s-1860s. Numbered on under side of barrel It appears to either be a "10" stamped over a "7" or possibly a poorly stamped 170. Silver inlays and german silver mountings fashioned very closely after those of Henry Deringer. Marking on frame and barrel "DERINGER/PHILADELA" which would make it consistent with the description of a Slotter & Co. Pocket Pistol.
