Profusely Engraved Colt London Model 1851 Navy Revolver {ANT}

.36 caliber. 7.5" octagonal barrel. SN: 33383 (mfg. ca. 1855). Blued finish, silver plated brass backstrap and triggerguard, smooth walnut one piece grip. Single action percussion revolver with six chambered unfluted cylinder, toggle link loading lever, hammer nose notch rear sight and brass cone front sight. Standard London Colt markings, all visbile numbers match including the wedge, London type round head screws. Revolver is profusely engraved with tight Arabesque scrolls on the frame, cylinder and rear portion of the barrel.

Condition
Very Good as refinished. Good bore with moderate oxidation and showing some pitting with decent rifling. Metal with much of an added blue finish over some light pinpricking, which shows areas of moderate thinning and loss. Markings and engraving remain clear and crisp. Mechanically functional action. Grip with moderate wear, marks and mars and some tiny chips out of the sharp edges.

- Long guns: $75–100 each
All private-party purchases of modern firearms will be delivered to Guns N Ammo as soon as possible following Nevada Gun Auctions’ receipt of payment in full.
- California Residents — California residents holding a valid Curio & Relic License may pick up eligible firearms directly from our Nevada facility; however, Nevada Gun Auctions does not ship C&R firearms directly into California. All such transactions will be handled exclusively through Guns N Ammo.
- Shipping — All Nevada Gun Auctions shipments are sent via FedEx with adult signature required and insured for 1.5% of the purchase price unless waived in writing. Shipping costs for each lot are published within the lot description. Handguns are required by law to ship via FedEx 2Day Air.
