.31 caliber. 3" octagonal barrel. SN: 149. Blued finish, color casehardened hammer, German silver triggerguard, smooth one-piece Gutta Percha grip. Single action percussion revolver with five chambered unfluted cylinder, frame notch rear sight and early style dovetailed German silver front sight blade. Narrow notches at rear of cylinder that cannot accept the hammer nose as safety rests. Barrel with standard two-line Beals patent markings. Topstrap marked "REMINGTON'S/ILION, NY" in two lines. A really lovely example of an early production Remington-Beals 1st Model Pocket Revolver.

Condition
Fine. Bore moderately oxidized with good rifling. Metal with some of the bright blue intact with moderate loss, thinning and wear and some minor impact marks and dings here and there, mostly on the right side of the barrel. Markings clear and crisp. Mechanically functional action. Grip fine, fading to a milk chocolate color, with some light handling marks.

- Long guns: $75–100 each
All private-party purchases of modern firearms will be delivered to Guns N Ammo as soon as possible following Nevada Gun Auctions’ receipt of payment in full.
- California Residents — California residents holding a valid Curio & Relic License may pick up eligible firearms directly from our Nevada facility; however, Nevada Gun Auctions does not ship C&R firearms directly into California. All such transactions will be handled exclusively through Guns N Ammo.
- Shipping — All Nevada Gun Auctions shipments are sent via FedEx with adult signature required and insured for 1.5% of the purchase price unless waived in writing. Shipping costs for each lot are published within the lot description. Handguns are required by law to ship via FedEx 2Day Air.
