Copper powder flask of classic pear form, embossed with a prominent American eagle above clasped hands within a starburst medallion, and a U.S. shield over crossed arms below. The design reflects mid-19th century patriotic iconography commonly associated with percussion-era accoutrements. The top retains its brass charger assembly, stamped “BATTY” and dated “1850,” corresponding to the Batty patent for adjustable powder chargers. Dual suspension rings are present at the sides. This type of flask would have been paired with percussion pistols or long arms during the mid-19th century period.

Condition
Aged patina throughout with areas of darker spotting and surface wear consistent with handling. Embossed decoration remains strong and well-defined. Neck and charger retain good form with visible markings. Mechanism present; functionality not tested. Overall structurally sound.

All private-party purchases of modern firearms will be delivered to Guns N Ammo as soon as possible following Nevada Gun Auctions’ receipt of payment in full.
- California Residents — California residents holding a valid Curio & Relic License may pick up eligible firearms directly from our Nevada facility; however, Nevada Gun Auctions does not ship C&R firearms directly into California. All such transactions will be handled exclusively through Guns N Ammo.
- Shipping — All Nevada Gun Auctions shipments are sent via FedEx with adult signature required and insured for 1.5% of the purchase price unless waived in writing. Shipping costs for each lot are published within the lot description. Handguns are required by law to ship via FedEx 2Day Air.
