Well-made U.S. Model 1917 bayonet featuring a full-length single fuller blade and wooden grip scales secured by screws, with steel pommel and muzzle ring. The ricasso is marked “1917” with U.S. ordnance inspection stamp, consistent with wartime production for use with the U.S. Model 1917 rifle during World War I. The bayonet retains its correct pattern scabbard with steel throat and olive drab body, designed for field carry on standard U.S. equipment.
